Slimmin' Down

Our sweet Preston turned 9 months old last week. 

 

• He now has 1 little tooth poking up on the bottom.
• He is great at sitting up and loves to watch Grant's every move.
• He has finally been doing better with eating solids and can usually finish half a jar of baby food in one sitting. (Believe it or not, that's a big improvement.)
• He has slimmed down quite a bit and his starts are...
• Weight: 19 lbs. 12 oz. (35%)
• Height: 28.75 in. (60%)
• Head: 19 in. (98%)
• He has tried tiny specks of cheese, meat, bread, ice cream, pizza, pasta, and asparagus and likes them all. I think he just wants to skip baby food altogether and go straight to table food.
• He still nurses 6-7 times per day and doesn't seem to be cutting back anytime soon which is fine by me.
• We love smooching those big cheeks and that round head!!

 

Easter Weekend

I have so many pictures from March because it was filled with visitors, fun times, holidays, and activities.

 

Grant was student of the week in his preschool class.

 

Grant loves giving Preston squeezes.

 

 

 Our ward has a traditional easter egg hunt for the little kids on the Friday morning before Easter. This was Grant's first year joining in the fun. He had a great time and also loves spending time with his sweet friend, Lydia.

 

Going to town on finding the eggs..I think he ended up with about 15.

 

Preston just enjoys being outdoors and holding/eating anything you give him.



 

Easter weekend also brought me some visitors from Utah!!
I was so lucky to have 2 of my college roommates, Laura and Colette, come play.  We had an absolute ball together hiking, shopping, eating out, relaxing, playing games, and eating gluten-free cupcakes (Thanks Colette!). Nothing has changed (from the good ole' days at BYU) and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Sean for staying home so I could have a day to play without the kiddos. That was much needed!

Happy Easter!

Easter weekend was so fabulous this year! We enjoyed family, friends, sweet treats, perfect weather, and Sean didn't have to work Saturday or Sunday. Woo Hoo!! I don't remember the last time that happened. We will share more of the festivities in coming posts, but here is our family after church.
