Our big boy Grant turned 3 years old on New Year's Day. I can't believe how he's grown up and become my little friend. We do have our share of tantrums and bad moments, but we adore this boy and are so happy to get to watch him grow up.
In order to celebrate Grant's birthday we had a small, family, Lightning McQueen birthday party. First, we played "Pin the Smile on Lightning McQueen". Sean drew the huge image and I colored it, laminated it, and taped it to the wall.
Then we sang "Happy Birthday" and Grant blew out the candles and opened presents.
Next, we enjoyed cinnamon rolls and orange slices from Flo's V-8 Cafe...
and milk, water, and chocolate milk we called Fillmore's Orgnaic Fuel.
Lastly, we played a fun round of "Cars Bingo" provided by a wonderful blogger.

Happy Birthday to my big boy. You are so smart. You just chat and tell me about the world all day long. You adore your brother and can make him laugh in a million different ways. Thank you for being the first one to join our family and to make us parents.
