6 Months

Our little lady is now 6 months old. We are all so in love with her and happy to have her in our family. The boys run up to her and talk "baby talk" whenever she is awake. Yesterday Olivia had her 6-month appointment. She got a slew of shots including the flu shot. But luckily, she didn't get too upset. Olivia also got a bilateral hip x ray because of her "mild hip dysplasia". The results came back today and everything looks great. Her hips are healthy and normal and she shouldn't have difficulty walking when the time comes. Here are her stats...
Weight: 17 pounds 12 ounces (77%)
Height: 26.75 inches (82%)
Head: 17.75 inches (98%)

Olivia still doesn't roll or sit up alone but that's how Grant and Preston were too and they turned out just fine so I'm not concerned. I think it's their big heads and heavy bodies that make moving quite difficult.

Some Firsts

My boys went to their first Diamondbacks baseball game on a daddy date last Saturday night. They did well and had a fun time. Grandpa Steve went too. They even got a hot dog which Preston kept talking about.

Grant was in his first Primary Program last Sunday. He sat on the very front row so we had a great view of him. He knew nearly every word to the songs and said his part loud and clear. He did fidget with his tie and wouldn't put it down for the entire program.
We enjoyed our first General conference weekend with three kids. Grant loved the projects, coloring, bingo, and dot-to-dots that I printed out for him. Preston loved the snacks. Can you see the cookie in his mouth? And Olivia loved hanging out with and being held by daddy.

Olivia tried her first taste of baby food today! I fed her infant rice cereal and she didn't seem to mind it too much. She ate maybe 6 bites and then was a bit disinterested.
Olivia is modeling her church dress here. I love the old school dresses with smocking and pleats. So precious.
Just in the past week Olivia has discovered a fetish with her tongue. She constantly sticks it out and to the side! I love it. I think it's so funny. The boys get a kick out of it too.
