Camping Adventures

A couple weeks back we decided we needed to go camping at least once before Sean's internship starts. The only time that worked was a Monday night so we turned it into FHE. We found this great campground, packed up everything we needed, and drove about 30 minutes. It was a great location with a river running right next to our spot. We made tin foil dinners but unfortunately cooked them way to long. They tasted like charcoal. Too bad because we were excited about them and didn't bring much else in the way of food. We learned a few things to do differently next time but it was a fun adventure and we made good memories.

The top looked okay but the bottom was BLACK!!
Doing what boys do best--building fires!!

This great tent was a wedding gift two years ago and we finally used it for the first time!!

Haha! We've definitely done that before with our tin foil dinners. Ty figured out that if you wrap it in foil, then a layer of a wet paper grocery bag, and then another layer of foil that they are impossible to burn. Maybe you could try that next time...

When does the internship start?!
