What is going on?

So we woke up this morning to this pleasant surprise outside all our windows. What is going on? It's April 7th for goodness sake. Hopefully this is the last snow fall for the season (we've been saying that for a while now). I think snow is pretty and I'm grateful for the moisture but after 6-7 months of winter I'm ready for spring. I'm ready for flip-flops and capris. Let's all keep out fingers crossed that warm temperatures are just around the corner. Hope you all have a lovely spring day. =)
